Sort of. Styrofoam coolers are banned as are bottles and glass containers. That's why coolers are being searched. It's all because Playa El Palmar was "certified" as a "Playa Limpia", as if THAT'LL get tourists here (and also implying that non-certified beaches are not limpias).

It would be so much simpler to simply fine people for littering. :wtf:
