Lagartos Restaurant on Playa Blanca

We'd like to spend a day at Lagartos, (once the crowds disappear), but don't want to risk the trip, only to find it closed.
Can anyone confirm it's open? Every day of the week? Pool still functional?
Although we've often taken the bus/combi to Barra, we've only ever been to Lagartos by car.
Is there a combi/camioneta that turns right at the "T", or should we go all the way into Barra, then grab a taxi to Lagartos?

There used to be a pasajera that went from La Barra to the airport via the beach road--anyone know if it still operates?

Take bus to Los Achotes then pasajera to La Barra and get La Barra taxi to take you to the restaurant--I'm guessing Lagartos is N of the "T" intersection?

Yes, about a half kilometer or so, as I recall. There's another popular restaurant near Lagartos called Chula Vida (or Chula Vista), but we want Lagartos.

The airport pasajera still runs, but I could never figure out the schedule--I think that it runs before and after school.

Lagartos is our neighbor. They are open 7 days a week right now and the pool is operating.

Just to add... there is a combi that goes back and forth from La Barra to the airport (passing right by Lagartos). It runs back and forth from 7 am to around 5 pm - to no set schedule...just back and forth. Since it's hard to tell where it is at any given time, it might not be a bad idea to go into Barra and get a taxi from there. It takes roughly around 30 minutes for it to make the stops end to end..but sometimes it gets slow and they wait for a 'full' load before taking off. All together you could get stuck waiting a while on that intersection (at the 't').
