When Zihuatanejo Is Not In the News

Apparently even with their multi-million dollar budgets the folks at Sectur, Sefotur, Oficina de Visitantes y Convenciones, and the Dirección de Turismo STILL aren't doing their jobs properly. I've been saying for years that they are not advertising us correctly but are simply spending all their money on salaries and traveling and parties and other nice stupidities. If I had just a tiny fraction of their budget I could keep Zihuatanejo hotels busy all year! Ixtapa's corporate hotels don't advertise either, but I really could care less about them. They've been living too long off the Zihuatanejo cash cow and letting the government do all their advertising for them.
