When Zihuatanejo Is Not In the News

Hello DGP from Michigan.
I just wanted to add to your post and say that my husband and I in Vancouver also go to Zihua every year and have been for decades and are pleased that it doesn't have AI's. We also tell our immediate friends and families about Z. and it seems that everyone who goes to Zihua for the first time falls in love with the place! It's really fun as they too recommend Z. and on we go. I appreciate that more advertising could be done but I am really happy that Zihua hasn't turned into Cancun or any other of "those places." We were in Zihua before Ixtapa was built and of course there have been many changes but the very essence of Zihua remains to this day and I know that is why people fall in love with the place. Nice to hear that your circle of family and friends is also adding to the lovely energy of Zihuatanejo.
