I haven't been to Las Gatas for a few years. What is the best restaurant (for food and overall experience)?

Chez Arnoldo is by far the best restaurant at Las Gatas. Never had a problem when they tally up the check either. For over 25 years it has been my favorite spot. It's about the third place on the beach arriving from the pier.

Chez Arnoldo is by far the best restaurant at Las Gatas. Never had a problem when they tally up the check either. For over 25 years it has been my favorite spot. It's about the third place on the beach arriving from the pier.
Definitely the best food, and you can get in and out of the water in sand not rocks and coral and swim!

Totally agree!
Is there a day they are closed? We plan to paddle over there for lunch this week.

I also recommend it. We snorkel a lot and really enjoy the easy entrance/exit to the ocean right there. Always enjoy the food and the staff.

I'll second that recommendation. Our waiter is usually Che who is outstanding.
