La,Madera and LaRopa
Can someone educate me regarding where does La Madera colonia stops and La Ropa colonia begins?
La Madera and La Ropa
It's pretty straight forward-you can't walk on the beach between the two. There is a rocky point separating them.
La Madera and La Ropa
I did not mean the beach TH I mean the neighbourhood. Hotel Irma is in La Madera but is Kau Kan considered to be in the colonia de La Madera or de la Ropa.......

Not sure what your confusion is. Is there an address you're confused about or is this just some idle curiosity?
Colonia La Madera stops more or less at the Xiguacán condos and Colonia La Ropa begins more or less at La Casa Que Canta hotel. The promontory area in between is known as El Eslabón where in 1742 the British ship "Centurion" captained by the corsair George Anson sank the Spanish galleon "Nuestra Señora del Monte Carmelo" which became grounded on the rocks there and over the years as it came apart its wooden planks would float up on the beach from where it got its name Playa La Madera.

The Kau-Kan will forever be considered part of Colonia La Madera even though it is located on la Carretera Escénica Playa La Ropa, which isn't as escénica as it used to be before the friggin' Intrawest was allowed to be built blocking its famous view.
