There was also a gathering of concerned neighbors two weeks ago at the cancha, where we signed petitions and made our unhappiness with this project known. Where were you?

Ita, with all due respect, this is not politics. There is no election of political candidates. We are not discussing reforms or the constitution. This is about urban planning, tourism, common sense and common good. Foreigners who spend their money here and thus pay taxes here are CERTAINLY able to opine, and it's something we need more of because your voices need and deserve to be heard. Your purchasing power cannot be ignored, especially because this is a TOURISM-DEPENDENT ECONOMY. I will stand by you.
