E-mail to Reglamentos

I would like to get an e-mail address for Reglamentos. My spoken Spanish is way too limited to call and report a bar violation and with e-mail I would send it in both English and my fractured Spanish. But the "tranny" Bar El Rincon was basting away at 4:00 am this morning

Unfortunately most Directors in the current administration make it difficult to contact them directly, and I haven't been able to locate an e-mail address for José Alberto García Blanco of Reglamentos. But for noise issues I urge you to call Lizette Tapia who is the Directora de Ecología. In our backwards system of government her office is the one entrusted with dealing with noise issues and she is empowered to sanction and close down the bar you mention.

If you're talking about the bar along Alvarez, (El Charco de las Ranas?) they must have closed early. For years and years these clowns have been disturbing the peace, with impunity, often until 5:30 or 6 am.

Call Lisette the director of the Dept of Ecologia at 755 100 6913. Just tell her hay un bar que tiene musica muy ruido muy tarde en la noche y temprano en la manana, and tell her where it is.

Holymole why don't you call and complain about Charcol de la Reina (or whatever it is)? I called last night about a birthday party and she took care of it in about half an hour.

That would be "muy ruidosa". Ruido is a noun. Ruidoso -a is its adjective, which must agree in gender with the noun it modifies, in this case "música".

El bar hace mucho ruido.
El bar tiene música ruidosa.
La música es muy ruidosa.

Also, the time would be la madrugada, not muy tarde en la noche.

Keep using your Spanish. Practice makes perfect!

Surprisingly, I'm happy to report that we have no serious current noise problems in our section of El Centro - at least nothing that can't be blocked by closing up all the windows and doors, and turning the A/C on.
El Charco de las Ranas kept us awake for several years when we stayed at Eric Fernandez' Casa Loma Bonita, because El Charco was just across the canal. I realize now that Poster KO is referring to the transvestite bar, called, (I think) El Charco de las Ranas II. You know, the place across from Zorro's that's totally empty until about 11 pm, but blasts their music to an empty bar anyway. There are a few places like that here in Centro, including one with an unpronounceable name just down from the flophouse.

I do not know about other nights as far as an empty bar till 11:00, but for the past couple of months they have almost a full house about 6:30 as they have pazole. Their music is no louder than all the other bars on the street at that time of night. Later...I have no idea.

There is an article in today's Despertar de la Costa about your noise complaint posted here, though they got your name wrong and called you OK, but hey! What's in a pseudonym, right?

So I think the folks at Reglamentos just might get your message. Hope & change, folks, hope & change. It CAN and DOES work with a little cooperation and participation. :kingtut:

Muchas gracias a Noé Aguirre por hacernos caso.
