Progress!
Thanks to many of you we have progressed much faster than we otherwise would have been able to do, and today sort of marked a milestone in that we got our new door installed and most of the painting and cement work finished downstairs. The exterior overhang also got some painting and cement repair work done since it had to be done anyway and the workers were here, but the interior is now mostly finished. Just some minor painting still needs to be done and we still have a few rooms that need rewiring upstairs since they still had some original wiring that fried (had to move our refrigerator for the time being). But at least we won't be living in a construction site now, which is what it's been like these past few weeks. The worst is over, and we're mostly back to normal. No more smokey smell, the boutique is in business with a new more economical and quieter A/C, but I still can't get used to seeing real circuit breakers in our home.
The hallway is once again a bright and welcoming place (though I have some hefty bags of debris that need putting out with the trash tonight so that's why I didn't take more photos). Once we give the downstairs a good cleaning to get rid of the cement dust and chippings it'll be more presentable, but for now we are all smiles like two lovebirds in their nest again.

Claro que sí. Don Teo es una buenísima persona y muy buen eléctrico. Nos está poniendo todo en orden en nuestra casa.
¡Mil gracias por tu ayuda!
