A good day on the tour of the lagoon at Bara de Potosi with Avi, lots of birds, feeding the birds provided entertainment watching the frigate birds pick the fresh sardines (Avi caught them by hand fishing net before we got there) out of the air, the royal terns and black headed and other gulls dive to get them and the black cormorants dive and stay under to pick up the sardines that went to be bottom.
This was our second year in a row doing the tour ( La Madre de me Cunado A.K.A. mother of my sisters husband here this time) and as informative as before but fun watching the birds challenge each other.

Avi is very knowledgeable of the local flora and fauna, and is an impressive young man. If you're looking for something to do, book a trip with Avi and view the lagoon from his eyes. It is a memorable trip to take. In fact, after the tour, you'll feel like you have done yourself a favor!!

AVI pulled a no show on us a few years back. Thankfully there are several non english speaking tour guides doing the same tour for 50 peso per person.

You are welcome AVI, do you have better email capability this year as I recall last year you indicated it was spotty and a challenge for you so it took time to respond this may help those who have had trouble contacting you if this remains a challenge.
