Rays
Last evening, as I fished from the beach at La Ropa, I was reminded of the shuffling-feet mantra when it comes to wading in the surf. Over a span of just a couple of minutes, I barely missed stepping on: 1. a spotted sea snake (actually a type of eel, I think) and 2. a small ray. They are there and they come all the way up the beach in the wash, especially at high tide.
Rays
I will remember to practise my dance moves while in the water as my feet rarely leave the ground and my moves will certainly not attract any living creature, even one with a greatly diminished cranial capacity.
