Silver Wings
Catchin' the big bird home to (our) reality today. Once again, we had an outstanding trip to Zihuatanejo, maybe the finest one yet. Weather and company were the best I've witnessed here (though having Roberto! y Wynn along would have been icing on the cake). Even Sunday was a hoot with many, many people on La Ropa having the times of their lives. It did my heart good to see so much joy, all in one place. The food was great, the beer cold and the tequila poured freely. Prices are up but not to the point of being prohibitive. The Catalina rocks, as always. One can only conjecture as to if we'll be back, our last five trips have been "our last"... time will tell. Thanks to all whose minds I've picked, recently and in the past, as to where the best goodness lies... you didn't let me down. I haven't done a real trip report in years but perhaps I shall this time... perhaps.
Adios Zihuatanejo!

Wait! You can't leave yet! You haven't even stopped by to say HOLA!?

Curly: It always sucks to take that taxi back to the airport, but the weather here in Oregon has been pretty good, springlike, and you can get Negra Modelo in the stores, and there's always the pictures and the memories. Glad you had a great trip. Although our journey took us to Costa Rica this year, there's always a special place in our hearts for Zihua. Bien viaje, amigo!

Curly,
Your trip reports are the best, I hope you can find time to write one.

Would love to read a trip report. I've read your past ones and really enjoyed them.

I did indeed keep an eye out for you, and we dropped some dough in your wife's store (or at least the ladies did), but I didn't actively try to search you out, you are correct. I consider that you might be too busy to have all the message board devotees wanting a minute with you.

Please do post another trip report, Curly!
I've read the others you wrote and they are great.
