Handcrafts market in Barra de Potosi

The next Monday march 31 starting at 9 am the differents women's Coops of Barra de Potosi will have a "tianguis" in the village,. they make handcrafts with local materials like Coconut shell, woods and others, actually they make figures of birds, paints and other things... so cool ヽ(^。^)ノ you will see the talent of our village.

At one time I understood this to be a village-wide street fair -- perhaps first ever (?) I did go to the handcraft market last year which was a lovely event, and I bought some goods from the local guild. Would go again either way, but would like to know if this event has been broadened or remains essentially like last year's.

I have heard conflicting times. I've heard 9 and also 12. What would be the correct time?

It has broadened to include all the folks in the village who make things and the things they make have also improved over the past year...practice, practice. Not to mention the great food we locals get to enjoy and some entertainments too.

Hey, I think I saw a Goofy when I was there the last time. He works down at La Condessa and he is a friend of mine.

For those of us that only visit once a year, it would be nice if there was a way the crafts could be more available. We got lucky last year and brought home a few things. Perhaps they could be sold at one of the enramadas or tiendas year round?
