I have been picking up people at the airport with never any problem from the airport taxi people ( tereste ??? )including this year. Last week I took someone to the airport with no problems.

This problem came from just one Taxi driver who saw us standing on the street with suitcases ( Dressed like tourists going to the airport).

Maybe with the taxi blockades this past week, this driver felt emboldened or maybe he is just a jerk. Anyway, he drove up onto the double driveway at an angle so no other car could pull in. He got out and then started the trouble.

The owner of where we stay came out and argued with him, so I know there was no translation issues.

Probably, no one else will ever have any troubles. We just wanted to post yesterday, cause we were angry, sitting at the Zihua airport with time on our hands.

Maybe after he called his buddies on the radio, they told him he was wrong.

Anyway, don't let any of them bully you.

There are nice taxi drivers out there, I have two friends who drive taxi's.

But this guy was a creep.

Yesterday, because of this guy, we would have taken a Combi to the airport before we would have taken a taxi.
