Good side of the recent quakes?

For years residents of the Costa Grande have worried over a graphic that appears on the state government's webpage about seismic activity. It shows a section of the coastline that has apparently not had seismic activity for a considerable period of time, and the suggestion is that a big one is due in order to relieve the seismic pressure on the region. Well, that region pretty much corresponds to where the recent large eqrthquakes occurred with their hundreds of aftershocks. So hopefully now we're all cool with Mother Nature and we can relax for a few more years. Hopefully...
But I can just hear Mother Nature saying: "Testing testing 1 2 3. Is this thing turned on? Can y'all hear okay in the back?"
Good side of the recent quakes?
I for one, will be hopeful. This sounds good to me.
