"Monday morning you sure look fine".
I just couldn't resist running out to the beach to capture this shot this morning. Hope y'all don't mind.

Does "red sky at morning, sailors take warning" apply to Zihuatanejo? Just curious what this kind of sky says about the day.
Well, of course, it says gorgeous. But anything else?
WOW
Exactly what I thought, Fran! I'm curious to see the answer. GREAT picture, Rob! Thanks.

I believe that only applies if eastward is also ocean. In our case eastward is mountainous terrain.
Though there is a large storm to the south of us, it looks to be moving northwestward. We'll be lucky to get any precipitation from it. We can't even seem to get any city water!

Actually, I checked, Rob. The red sky thing applies to mid-latitudes, north and south Mid-latitudes north end at 23 something south. Zihuatanejo is about 17. So your red sky may not be as predictive.
You learn something new every day, I guess. Or perhaps I need a life.

Everything is trade off. You got the beautiful ocean, mountains and weather, and I've just had more than 22,000 plus straight days with water. Maybe more but my memory doesn't go back any further.

So when was the big six O? I am coming for mine in November!

Still feel like 40 so I stopped counting a couple years ago. Feel even younger when I'm in Zihua.

Always happy in Zihua. When you're happy, you feel young--even at 84!
See you all in Feb.
