Anyone have a connection on a long term rental

Hello, looking for a 5-6 month rental (November through April ). Looking for modest accommodations and willing to rent year round if the rate is good. Used to live in town and liked that for convenience. ALways found it best to work through the local folks so any suggestions would be appreciated
