Very cool-I hadn't realized that Gabriela was so deeply involved in the Eco-vegan movement.

Do these folks preform locally, regularly? We had to miss the ZIGF 2014 in March, cancelling at the last minute, but will be down to Zihua in November for a whopping 3 weeks! So excited for the extended stay.....sweet dreams cuz the last thing I do every night I login to view this board to up to date on all that is Z!!

No, they don't perform regularly. So far only twice at the Eco-Tianguis, I believe, and the second time was just Gabriela without Rodrigo.

But maybe if this thing becomes a big success that might change!

Rodrigo y Gabriela are currently on tour in the US until the end of October and kick off a European tour in late November. We saw them perform in our city last month and they are not only gifted musicians but engaging entertainers as well. They had the audience completely under their spell. BTW, we were tickled when Gabi mentioned their "home in Zihuatanejo" between songs. I was told by a local bartender that they live in Ixtapa but no matter. It's absolutely wonderful to have these internationally renowned guitarists and truly decent folks in our community.

....and local folks who play at the restaurants over the next few months. I look forward to the trip reports on Zihua as well!

Maybe November they will be around Zihua/Ixtapa!!!

What a great video! Just curious...who is the local female chef 'Chelsi' Gabriela recruits when her sister is unavailable?

It is available in Canada. I have it and quite like it. It was recorded in Gabriela`s studio in Ixtapa.

Rodrigo Sanchez lives Barcelona. Gabriela lives in Ixtapa.

People who want to see them live in Zihua should support them by purchasing a CD!
