And people always looked at me strangly when I said Rosies. We all knew where we were talking about though.

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but when us anglos say "Rosies", the "s" comes out sounding like a "z" - whereas the double "s" in Rossies should still sound like "s", rather than "z".

(I was gonna write "z" as "zed", but none of you US colonials would know what I was talking about.)

Isn't it wonderful to have nothing better to do?
