Flowers made from corn husks...where to buy (see pix)
In other places, especially this time of year, we've found flowers made from died corn husks but we can't find them in Zihua...yet. Gotta know they can be found somewhere- if you've seen them then please share the location- gracias!

I always buy some that look like Gladioli in Tzintzuntzan, near Patzcuaro.

Hi Jim.
I purchased a bunch of corn husk flowers in Zihuatanejo earlier this year.
I had never seen them before and couldn't believe how beautiful they were.
Now having said that .... The gal selling them didn't have any kind of booth
or store, just the sidewalk. Wish I had contact information for her as I gave them all away as gifts.
I'll keep my eye out for you. Kim

I have seen them from time to time in the market on cinco de mayo. Not there all the time. Agree....Tzintzuntzan is the place to go!

We have always found them directly in front of Merza, the big one, against the school wall. They usually appear for Christmas, along with great wreaths and other great craft goodies.

There are 2 or 3 booths in the Mercado that have them, look on the "straw isle" as I call it. If your facing the "hardware/kitchen equipment" it's the isle on the right.

Have you checked with my friends Rafael & Vicki at Arte Mexicano Nopal next to Bandidos on Cinco de Mayo?
