If someone from Guerrero is a "Guerrerense", (I stand to be corrected, obviously) is someone from Zihua a "Zihuatense"? How about a "Zihuatleco"?

Someone from Zihuatanejo is called a zihuatanejense. Someone from Petatlán is a petatleco. (We don't capitalize the first letter of nationalities and such in Spanish.)

Maybe "Los Zihuatanejenses" is a bit of a mouthful. (But maybe just to English-speakers?). "Los Azuetenses" might be a tad obscure. Would "Los Zancas" be appropriate for a group from the Zihua area?

Hey how about "Los Costenos" or "La Vida Costa" or "La Vida Costera" or "La Costa".
My spellings are incorrect, to be sure, but a waiter once told me that people from Zihuatanejo called themselves costenos, or from the coast area...he said it applies to Michuaconos and others along the pacific coast as well. I was telling him about some guys I work with from Vera Cruz...and he said Costenos call those guys huarchero (again the spelling...ugh) or something like that? So sums up my culture and language lesson from a waiter in Z.
