1) Contact the financial institutions of any/all cards you will bring to Mexico - charge and debit- and notify them of your travel plans
2) Use debit cards to withdraw cash from ATM's. Use charge cards where accepted.
3) If you bring any US currency as back-up make sure all bills are of latest vintage/design with no tears or markings as any imperfections may result in bill being refused
4) Enjoy your trip, ATM access and use is a non-issue if you follow 1 & 2
