I will be fortunate to be in Troncones / Majahua for the next two Thursdays. Any recommendations for pozole in that area?

The place everyone in the area goes to is Mine's ... just off the highway a block before the bust stop in Buenavista.

The drive to Mines is certainly worth it...I LOVE her posole but it is about a 15 minute drive to Buena Vista from Troncones. I would also suggest La Mexicana that is right in town. She has seafood and chicken posole on thursday. I'm sure other restaurants are offering it...maybe Rufi's...not sure right now on others.

Not sure if it is still there as its been a couple years but in the village on the north side of the road was what i would call an enmarada. The owner served great cerviche and cold beer and I don't think anything else. As I recall it was a weekend only type affair.

But if it is still there I highly recommend it
