The Deep Warm Z

Got a touch of precipitation last evening, just enough to freshen the air and raise the humidity to more tolerable levels for us sea-level denizens of the tropics. It made this morning's walk all that much more pleasant and magical, and it made the air all that much more fragrant.

The arriving cooler ocean currents bring with them more moderate temps for us and apparently send some marine life seeking shallower waters to stay warmer, making for better fishing for some, including the great egrets, the snowy egrets and the cormorants who were out en force this morning in La Boquita canal.

With such magical forces of life and nature all around it boggles the alert and rational mind that we all don't instinctively care lovingly for this idyllic garden of a planet that is our home.
