The evening before last there was a wonderful homenaje at the Museo (the former Palacio Federal) to beloved Zihuatanejo teacher Maestro Lázaro Ramirez who taught several generations of zihuatanejenses, including my wife. It was great to see so many of his former students together to honor him. They pretty much represent what is left of the original Zihuatanejo families who settled and built this community.

Lovely fotos, and an especially wonderful homage to a man who served his students, his profession, and his community well for many years. Del mismo modo, un saludo cordial a la familia de su esposa.

Thanks for sharing those Rob. The class photo is a classic. Must not have been too hard for the girls to find a boy at that school.
