FREE WI-FI
At least outside of security. When we were here last year it wasn't free.

Good to know! I did not noticed this upon my arrival but then again I had been up for quite some time so easy to miss...

It can be scary sometimes using a open net work. One needs to be very careful because the sites are not safe- you may never know if someone is monitoring your key strokes and what sites you are going to. In the States ATT offers a plan where your cell phone becomes a secure wifi modem for your laptop/IPad- part of the Gig plan for your smart phone/I Phone. When in a hotel in the States I always use my cell phone as a wifi modem- no one can monitor it. It's bad enough already doing searches and getting malware on your computer.

Sorry to tell you but even wi-fi on your phone can be unsafe. Anything can be hacked by the right tools/people. Use basic safe web browsing and you should be fine.

I do not use my smart phone for browsing- when traveling, text and checking my email besides phone. Scares me seeing people using their phone for banking and other security needed actions.

It depends what you are using...I'm using a Blackberry and there are no safety issues with that...Other phones, I would not do any banking or money sites with them.
