We have been coming to Zihua for 12 plus years and never came across a restaurant named Carmelita's! Where is this located? We would love to try on our trip this coming November!

If you know where the Log Cabin is on the road to Ixtapa, it's just to the left. Hard to spot, they don't have much of a sign....but they do have great tongue tacos.....
It is near Cacahuate. It is not that expensive. Carmen is a GREAT cook!
And Tiburon is in San Jose Ixtapa. Sigh. I wish I were there!
Tongue tacos? Why have I never been told this? Are they salty, spicey? I want to try them now.

It's too late to try them today....but they are neither salty or spicy, they are just boiled, you add your own spice....

And on Sunday you can get lengua en etafado, which I think is better, at Dona Licha....

Went there today. Only have tongue on Sunday. BOOO! Had a lovely meal. Morris had Chili Rellenos and loved them.
