!!!! PHONE SCAM ALERT !!!

I just had 2 phone calls from the same number ,when I answered a Child was Crying very terrified sounding and said something about being hit by a Car ,it kinda sounded like my 12 year old so I raced home to see if All My kids and pets were ok ,They were ,so We tried to call the number ,the phone had been shut off ,Be Alert it is from a local cel phone !!

This type of scam has been going on for a couple of years that I know of. A local that we know very well received such a call at least 2 years ago, and was told that they had her daughter. She was absolutely hysterical! With a friend's help, she was able to verify that her daughter was fine and at home. A terrifying experience, to be sure. Evidently if you believe the caller, there will be a request for money to return your family member/friend. Unfortunately this type of stuff goes on everywhere.
