Carlos in Z Bay
The rain from "Carlos" stopped yesterday evening and it's hardly rained since. We spent a lovely night without further problems from the weather enjoying a light refreshing breeze. A light rain during the early morning hours while we slept was the only other effect we noticed from "Carlos".
Right after the rain stopped yesterday I went out and snapped a few photos for your perusal. I hope you enjoy them.
Here's a wide-angle hi-def panorama from the walkway in front of the statue that respresents the region of Acapulco.
A few more photos...

While we may still get some rains and tropical storm force winds along our coastal region, here in Zihuatanejo we are in the best spot on the entire coast of Guerrero. No bay is better sheltered than we are.
Carlos was just upgraded again to a hurricane about an hour ago, but it has passed us and is moving west-northwest at around 5 knots. It will soon run into cooler water and peter out, I predict. It's been sprinkling off and on here in downtown Zihuatanejo. A very pleasant day. Perfect for shopping at Lupita's Boutique!
