Even though experts, politicians, shamans and nervous nellies all predicted day after day that Zihuatanejo was going to be ravaged by "Carlos", it simply never happened. But we are NOT disappointed. Now "Carlos" has moved on and in a day or two we'll hardly even know it was ever here. Unlike Acapulco and other communities along the southern coast of Guerrero, Zihuatanejo was thankfully spared from the wrath of "Carlos". I'm glad everyone was wrong about "Carlos". Now we can hopefully get on with enjoying the simple pleasures of life in paradise.
