Some options

We all have our favorites, but Bananas on Calle Nicolas Bravo near Benito Juarez which has great authentic Mexican, or American style breakfasts is mine. They also have pictures of old Zihua on the tropically painted walls that are great fun to look at. Dona Liche, near Kioto Circle is another local favorite for well priced, no frills, good food.

Sabores y Calores on Cuahtemoc (sp?) across from the library, or Mito's, on the corner of Cuahtemoc and Ejido have more upscale breakfasts, more in the line of frostbite's recommendation of Margarita's.
