First visit in November
Hello,
We have been regular visitors in Riñcon de Guayabitos for 10 years. We are visiting Zihuataejo in November. Is there any advice anyone on this forum can offer. We are staying at Hotel Amueblados Las Salinas. We love Mexico and are so happy to visit somewhere new.

Be prepared to fall in love with Zihuatanejo; November is lovely time to be in Zihuatanejo to enjoy the verdant hillsides and crystal blue water of the Pacific Ocean.

You will find it much warmer in the evening than Rincon. Love it! Also you will love the much easier grocery shopping and transportation. You will however miss the beach walks along the bay which are Rincons signature attraction.

Be prepared. Prepared to come back for the rest of your life. Words can not fully describe the beauty of the area and wonderful residents you will meet. We came for our first visit ten years ago and have been back every year, a longer visit each time.

To get a idea of how beautiful the coast is, do a fishing charter or sun set cruise- the sun set cruise is a booze cruise but just sailing over to Ixtapa and watching the sun fall off is beautiful watch when the clouds doesn't block the sun . We love sitting on the beach in Ixtapa and watching the sun sets- never get tired of them. If you have a kitchen, early morning walk down or taxi and get fresh fish just brought in from over night fishing. November is 1 of the best times because everything is green from the rainy season.

First of all: welcome aboard. Enjoy the warmth of this place and the people. Get your feet wet. Like many others, I am sure you will quickly find yourself attracted to this place. Hope you enjoy your stay. No diets when you are here. lol
P.S. November is a perfect time.

18 years of loving Zihua for my husband & I. I have been alone twice now & it was still wonderful!
So beautiful, wonderful people, so many fabulous Restaurants. Love the music!
So many people return to Hotel Villa Mexicana each year that it's like old home week!
La Ropa beach is pretty nice for an evening stroll too--or any time of day!
