The Z Of Dreams

Still no rain, still hotter than Hades, but there is still no other place else I'd rather be than right here in Zihuatanejo with my saint of a wife Lupita, our daughter, our grandson, our chihuahua Lola, and our snail Babs. It may not be The American Dream (something I never aspired to), but it's a dream come true for me. Your mileage may vary.

Here's something I'd never seen before: a fly sitting on a wire enjoying a cool morning glob of water similar to how astronauts do in space. I frankly didn't think iPhones could even capture shots like this.

Very cool pic of the fly! I'm going to send it to my brother who is getting into wildlife photography using IR motion sensors to his camera. He'll be green with envy!

Another great shot. I too am amazed at the quality of the photo considering you used an iphone. The water droplet looks almost like a pearl against the sky in the background. Perhaps it is a member of the Flying Wallendas' high wire act.

Really great picture of the fly! And I just changed my screen saver to the shot of La Madera. Thanks for keeping my home away from home in my thoughts always.

You and your iPhone have really outdone yourselves with this fly photo. Of course Madera does look like the Z of Dreams.
