Not Necessarily Drugs...

The young lady -could be- the victim of a permanent alternate reality. Subject to episodes when she is un-medicated or under medicated. The level of coordination described does not really jibe with alcohol.

I never for a moment thought she was drunk. More like she'd taken one of the bad designer drugs or even a hallucinogenic. Drunks always shout. She was totally mute. Didn't even whisper a harsh sound. I'm no expert in behavioral psychology, but she didn't appear to be suffering from a mental disorder.

She was dressed for a special night out on the town, right down to the sexy thong, and like I said, it appeared she'd taken a "special" substance for the occasion. I've helped and accompanied a lot of people through their "trips" and overdoses, and to me it certainly looked like she was on one.
