Hotel El Presidente partially closed

Reminds me of our first ever visit to Ixtapa/Z in '92. We stayed at El Presidente, not in the tower but there were bungalows very near the beach. One morning we watched several young women in swimwear roller skating around the pool area, being followed around by a film crew. The next evening we joined a good sized group of local teen girls as they observed a crew shooting a musical performance at a hotel just to the north along the beach.
