BIG Storm!

In the morning's wee hours before dawn we got socked with a major thunderstorm that brought high winds, heavy rains and lots of lightning strikes. This was strongest storm to hit our area all year. Knocked most of our plants over but fortunately no real damage. But I'm sure there was some. Surely some trees came down and some roofs were blown off and water got into many places where it isn't supposed to be. Glad I don't have to drive to work or anywhere else! I hope everyone here in the region is all right. Let us know.

I fixed the plants blowing over last storm. All mine are tied down and do well in the weather.
MY BIG PROBLEM last night/early morning was the dog who lives downstairs could not get into their house so he came up to mine. I kept hearing something out front but I just thought it was stuff blowing on the deck area. NO! Pici clawed enough he tore the screen off the door. By the time I realized I needed to look at what was happening the screen was all off and he pushed his way inside and headed for under the bed. He is still inside here like he thinks it might happen again at any minute.
More rain for this week,I think.

Good to know, in case of a storm, I can tear off your screen and crawl under your bed.

Not much sleep during Saturday night's storm or again during last night's storm. Lots of lightning and some very loud thunder compared to back home.
