And a little place across from Zorro's ....La Tertulia.......just fabulous. I have the tortilla soup there often on Monday or Friday. They also have really good food in general and you can have the comida corrida (meal of the day) and there are usually different 4 choices (plus the soup and a fruit water) for $40 pesos. Hard to cook at home for that price. And did I mention if you don't cook at home...you do not have to clean up.

Hi Kim -- I can vouch for Paty's tortilla soup. I spent the first week of our stay this year pretty much laid up with bronchitis. My appetite was off, so my wife brought me soup from Paty's. I loved both their tortilla and seafood soups!

If you like Tortilla Soup, try the Fajitas Queen across from the old Pizza D'Angelos on Calle Agustin Ramirez, just off Juan N. Alverez. Great soup and the rest of his menu is very good also. Excellent value, You can have dinner for about 80 pesos.
