Catching the bus to Playa Linda (reply)

Catch the bus at the top of Paseo del Palmar. To get there, go to Kioto Circle, then head "north" past the Oxxo towards the hills. After four or five blocks, you'll be at a "T" intersection where Morales goes west to east. The bus stops at the triangle area at the top of the street. Be sure to catch one that says Playa Linda on the window.

When you travel back from Playa Linda, get off at the Coppel store before you reach the top of Avenida Benito Juarez. You can walk back down to Morales through the side streets that come out on Morales between Papa Loca and Cafe Carmelita. Then you can walk back to Kioto Circle on Paseo del Palmar (sometimes shown as Avenida Nacional on the old maps).

At the bus stop at Playa Linda, there's an interesting crocodile sanctuary which also features tons of iguanas who will come out of the trees to eat any greens that might be offered.

Catching the bus to Playa Linda

We're going to go check out Isla Ixtapa tomorrow. I am wondering if we can catch the bus closer to Madera or Kyoto Circle? We have always got on and off at the Elektra near the Mercado so I can't say that I know where the bus goes from there...does it go through town? Is there somewhere nearer to Madera that we can catch it? (and on our return trip get off too?)
Thanks everyone
