Besides lots of folks going fishing, more folks than ever are chartering boats to search for whales. There have been lots of sightings each day as various pods of families with new calves enjoy the abundance of tranquility they need that our coastline offers them.

Seeing so many relaxed faces of happy visitors anticipating a day of adventure at sea is a joy to behold. Their excitement is infectious, and most everyone at the pier reacts to it. Part of what Zihuatanejo is all about. If only there were more folks in the world with our Zihuatanejo state of mind. Oh what a different and better place it could be! ;-)
