Jaz, thank you for your reply. We know Vado well and certainly agree that his work is excellent! It is a joy to eat there. We never even thought of them as we feared many small eateries Wd not have made it through COVID. You’ve made our day to learn they are alive and well.

El Vado is open and the food is fantastic, we love supporting this young chef! It is upstairs opposite LA Gula.
La Terracita has a great new location, great food and service, across from Mercedes Hotel.

Another new place on Calle Adelita: Zihua Bay. They cooked up some fish we caught, recently. None of that over-cooked, barbequed stuff. 3 different styles, each one delicately cooked and delicious. They are located toward the bay end of Adelita.

Casanova's on Calle Adelita is now open on Sundays and has wonderful food and service.

In the past, La Terracita and the one upstairs opposite La Gula were open Sundays.

La Terracita has opened another restaurant on Calle Adelita just at the intersection where the hill to go up and over onto Playa Madera is. Their ocean view restaurant is being remodeled. The food is exquisite. They have a beet salad that is awesome. I miss Zihua!

We stay on La Madera and our first dinner is always at Daniel's. About a 5 minute walk.

HELP! We will be arriving next Sunday with ETA at the aeroporto ???? 7PM, and we’ll be hungry and tired from long trip. Does anyone know of any restaurants generally open on Sundays on or near Calle Adelita where we’ll be staying? We know of the usual Sunday closures of La Gula, El Arayan, Rufo’s. In the past, La Terracita and the one upstairs opposite La Gula were open Sundays. Any advice wd be greatly appreciated.
