As usual, last night's homage by numerous Mexican musicians to Guadalupe at the Basílica en Tepeyác was quite beautiful. Quite a cultural treat for Spanish-speakers. Lupita and I always enjoy it even if we nod off now and then during the show.

This Tuesday evening allegedly saw the last of the Guadalupano pilgrims, so there shouldn't be so many explosions for a while.

Tuesday was a bit more humid than Monday, but it got nice and cool (for us) during Monday night and we had to sleep under a sheet. Awakening to such beauty and tranquility is always a priceless treat. Don't know how we stand so much tropical paradise. Still no snow or freezing weather in our local forecast.

Please tip generously to the young man who plays slow jazz music on his guitar during the evenings at Plaza del Artista. Since no one is replacing the wandering trios who sing boleros in local restaurants and bars, music like this is a good substitute.
