The influx of vacationers continues, and occupancy numbers in local lodgings continue rising. Local merchants and business owners are working hard to garner customers. This is the time of year when many folks have to make up for the slow season. No easy task when so many tourists don't bring much money to spend and others don't leave their all-inclusive hotels to buy anything.

There was a repeat performance of the Desfile Navideña in Ixtapa this Monday evening. I hope the folks there enjoyed as much as we did the night before last. Never heard of having a parade twice, but here we are.

The ocean is so calm it's almost like glass. Barely any wave activity at all on Playa Principal. Makes it even easier to spot whales, and now is the time to do it!

Hardly a cloud in the sky all day, then right around sunset it clouded up, even looked like it might rain for a while, but so far nothing. Just perfect weather. Loving every minute of it!
