Sunday was an absolutely beautiful day! Hardly a cloud anywhere to be seen. Plenty of sunshine. Glass calm seas, with a light breeze. Beaches were busy but not full. Nighttime was cool enough for sleeping under a sheet. Locals have to set their fans on low, some even use a light blanket. Still no snow in our forecast.

Local shops and restaurants downtown are seeing lots of foreigners as well as national tourists. Really good to have our northern friends back with us. Warm your bones and leave all that stress behind.

I hope everyone in the USA enjoys a safe day holiday weekend remembering Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and what he stood for. Texans standing by and preventing federal forces from helping a woman and 2 children from drowning in the Río Bravo is NOT something decent U.S. citizens should be allowing. I hope you will express your outrage to your elected officials.

There have been lots of videos posted on local social media recently of whale sightings off the coast of Zihuatanejo-Ixtapa and Troncones.
