Thank you Rob for letting us know about the public transportation. We tried to visit the Ixtapa marina without success Tuesday. Learned about the situation as we waited for the bus. Thought ws would try again today. We decided to see if you posted anything and indeed you do have info. We are now in the process of developing plan B. You can mess with us one time but not 2 times!

I'm seeing taxis pass by, but from what I hear from them, even they aren't sure if they'll be working the next day or not. Everyone's hoping there are no more "incidentes". Still not a peep from the mayor from his Madrid all-expenses-paid-vacation venue (paid for by We The People).

Don't expect public transportation to return to normal this Thursday. Things are not going well for them. And not a peep from the municipal government. The mayor's in Madrid on vacation at the people's expense and apparently can't be bothered with calming an alarmed community.

Tuesday night felt a bit nipper in downtown Zihuatanejo during the wee hours. Had to pull the sheet up and turn the fan down. A clear sky made for a bright moon, and small waves made for nice sleeping sounds. I've grown so accustomed to hearing the waves in Zihuatanejo's bay that their rhythm has become a part of my own biorhythm.

Lots of tuna are being caught lately. It's a good time to order tuna steaks or tuna salads in local restaurants. ¡Buen provecho!
