Yes it was that. We had told them the stories of previous tremblers while here during diner last night so timing was good. Safe to say with this lovely weather we have been experiencing they are thoroughly enjoying being here. We did a countryside tour with our frien and tour guide Juan Carlos Garcia García and they were taken with the area even more. We went to Playa Linda, toured downtown Zihua and walked the waterfront and pier.. we then went through Madera and La Ropa and went up on the hillside above Playa Las Gatas to get some spectacular pictures.
We ate at El Suspiro at Pacifica Grand last night which has an awesome view of the bay and sunset besides the delicious food and excellent service.
Continuing with todays tour we took the newish road behind La Ropa through to playa Blanca, then Playa Larga and finally Barra de Potosi where we had a wonderful lunch at El Nayito

If you are interested in a similar or any type of tour contact Juan Carlos García García through his Facebook,

Email: juanservitaxi@hotmail.com
WhatsApp : +52 755 114 2937

He will give you excellent service and can do small local tours , airport rides or more extensive tours to see the butterflies if that’s what you would like

He is a certified tour guide and besides being my friend of over 20 years speaks perfect English is very courteous, knowledgeable and extremely knowledgeable, reliable and very punctual.

You won’t be disappointed!

My brother uttered the words, next time we come, so another victim infected with Zihua of which there is no vaccine.

Anyone else feel the shaky jerk at about 6:50 this morning?

Only felt it for about 5 seconds but it was a shake for sure.

Our first timer guests ( my brother and his wife ) said we didn’t have to include everything on the tour of Zihua for them.

We are in Ixtapa and all 4 of us had a good wake up jolt

Our seismic alert apps sounded at one minute to 7 this morning to warn us of the arrival of the seismic wave from the 4.5 temblor in Tecpan. Heckuva thing to wake up to.
