Lots of visitors showed up today to enjoy the weekend. Restaurants along the downtown waterfront were full, mostly with foreigners, but also with a good mix of Mexicans, mostly families, many also with their furry family members. It's nice to see things pick up for the weekend after a relatively slow week.

This Saturday morning the Eco-Tianguis Sanka is open from 9 to 1:30. Come enjoy fresh produce, baked goods, prepared dishes, coffee, mezcal, arts, crafts, music, and some wonderful warm and kind-hearted people. This is the place to be on Saturday mornings!

Once again locals woke up shivering trying to stay warm under the sheets to 20°C temps in downtown Zihuatanejo. Fortunately once the sun came out the day warmed up quickly under a cloudless sky. The ocean temp continues to hover just above 28°C. That's about the limit for locals to feel comfortable. Still no snow in the forecast.
