Neighbors of Playa Principal awoke before sunrise to borrachos playing their stereo at full volume and screeching along with it pretending to be singing. Zihuatanejo will never advance or have better tourism without a police presence after dark apart from speeding by in trucks oblivious to their surroundings. Each morning we awake to a beach full of bottles, cans, plastic cups and other trash from the previous night's drunks. There's no excuse. It's a clear omission of duty by municipal authorities.

We got some rain overnight! Not a lot, but the plants liked it. Washed away some dust and brought out some colors.

Wednesday has been another absolutely picture-postcard perfect day of unbeatable weather. Cool and refreshing in the morning, scattered cumulus clouds that paint the deep blue sky so beautifully, a balmy breeze, and temps around 30°C. Small waves in the bay and a water temp of 28°C made for perfect swimming conditions for beachgoers.

There's plenty of room at our local lodgings for folks who want to come enjoy our little corner of paradise with us.
