Waves from an ongoing mar de fondo event prevented water taxis from operating between Playa Linda and Isla Ixtapa this Thursday. Around 10:00 this morning the announcement was made by the Capitanía to cancel the service. No such problem in Zihuatanejo, thanks to the protection our bay offers.

It was another cool and refreshing morning along the waterfront in Zihuatanejo. As soon as the sun came out, things warmed right up and folks started appearing on the beach to sun themselves and swim. This evening most of the waterfront restaurants along the Paseo del Pescador were full, mostly with our visitantes extranjeros who sure seem to be totally relaxed and enjoying themselves. It certainly is good to have you all here. I hope your vacations are working for you.
