Be aware that from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. this Saturday morning due to the Carrera del Agua 2024 there will be road closures on the Paseo de Zihuatanejo from Teozintle restaurant to the Fuente del Sol and from the Fuente del Sol to Fibazi.

The Carnaval de Zihuatanejo gets underway this Friday evening at the Cancha Municipal. Expect downtown to be crowded and traffic heavy. If you're looking for alternative entertainment, you can catch Patricia Carrión at Mezgalería across the street from the Hotel Irma in La Madera beginning at 6:30 p.m.
