I've tried to avoid the Saturday flight because it is usually packed, since that is the day many of the hotels turn over guests who book by the week. Nothing wrong with people who want to get the party started on the plane at 10AM, but not my preference.

I think that is great news because it will put price and service pressure on United. I've booked twice on American to ZIH but both times American cancelled the flight due to weather. They rebook us on Delta or United which both seem to handle winter weather better.

Today, American Airlines said they will be starting daily flights from DFW to ZIH on December 5. In prior years, the seasonal service was limited to Saturday and Wednesday. They also announced similar service from DFW to Huatulco and on November 5 there will be twice daily flights to Oaxaca.
